Shocking Figures Reported on Teen Sex Disease
The Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has found that at least 1 in 4 American teenage girls have a sexually transmitted disease. Nearly half of the black
teens in the study had at least one sexually transmitted infection and the most common
one noted was the virus that causes cervical cancer.

The study indicated that because of inadequate sex education information either from parents or schools, among the girls interviewed who admitted to having engaged in sexual activity, 40 percent of them had an STD.

Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, said that the study clearly shows that, "the national policy of promoting abstinence-only programs is a $1.5 billion failure, and teenage girls of America are paying the real price."

This is a very serious issue for the entire nation. Parents are in the driver’s seat and they need to send the message out to the young girls, "Either change your behavior, use condoms and get vaccinated."
