Unable to
survive the current sex scandal, New York Governor Eliot
Spitzer?resigned his governorship on Wednesday. But who is the
call girl related to this scandal? Known only
as “Kristen” on the “Emperor’s Club” website, her real name is
Ashley Alexandra Dupre, a
22-year old musician from New Jersey. After leaving her broken
home at age 17, she came
to New York to work as a night club singer and recording artist.
Now she is almost certain to became a "star" in her own right
because of her involvement in the downfall of New York’s
powerful Governor Spitzer.
On her Myspace page on the internet, Dupre writes passionately
about her "odyssey to New
York from New Jersey through Miami, Washington, D.C.and Texas."
Legal records show that
she owned a company she started in 2005 called Pasche New York,
which her lawyer has stated was an entertainment-based business
designed to further her singing career. Dupre has insisted that
music is her first love.
In the affidavit, she?has been known on the internet and in the
night club business as “Kristen” and was described as, "an
American, petite, very pretty brunette." She apparently was
booked
as a call girl for $1000 an hour.
