德州參議院明令褒奖美南新聞及國際貿易中心
美國德州參議院正式通过第十八條議案，特令褒奖由美南新聞集團創辦人李蔚華於二十二年前成立之國際貿易中心，促進休斯敦地區之國際貿易繁榮及發展。
「該中心自成立以來曾經舉辦過二百多項社區及國際交流活動，促進休斯敦和世界各地之經濟發展和交流，此貢獻應當受到參議院之特別表揚，並且由參議院全體議員之投票通過對國際貿易中心成立二十二週年表示衷心之祝賀。」
這項由參議院主席帕翠及前參議員惠特邁共同簽署之文件，今天上午送達到我們的辦公室。我手捧着這份燙金之參院文件，並細讀了全文，這份珍貴之禮物，代表了我們集團團隊及無數社區領袖之無私付出，得到參議院及社會各界高度認可。
在此同時，我們正在籌劃中之第一屆休斯敦國際工商博覽會將於今年十月三十日召開，這也將是我們對休斯敦及德州和全美國之一項獻禮。

The Texas Senate Passed A Resolution Recognizing Wea Lee And ITC

The Senate of the State of Texas has passed a resolution that recognizes Mr. Wea Lee and the International Trade Center of Houston, Texas, on the occasion of the organization’s 21st anniversary.

In the Senate Resolution 18, it states that, "The the International Trade Center of Houston, Texas, was established in 2002 by founder

Wea Lee, a business magnate who publishes the Southern Chinese Daily News and prints over 50 international news publications and founded a trade center to encourage and facilitate international business in Houston, Texas, and the organization has played an important role in promoting global financial activity and diversity in the local economy in Houston. The ITC has hosted more than 200 community events and continues to support and vitalize communities and industries in the Houston metropolitan area. The organization has played a crucial and productive role in facilitating relationships between Houston businesses and new global partners, and it is indeed fitting that it receive a special recognition on more than two decades of success. Now therefore, be it known, that the Senate of the State of Texas 88th Legislative 4th called session hereby commends Mr. Wea Lee and the members of the ITC on their commitment to Houston’s growth and propersity and extends to all the best wishes for a comfortable 21st anniversary celebration."

When the document arrived at my office, I held it in my hand and read it. This very precious gift from the Texas Senate represents the selfless efforts of our team and community leaders. We are so grateful that we live in this great land and are so very proud to be a part of this great country.
