我投票了
週五下午二時我赶上了總統大選先投票之最後一天去投下了神聖之一票,在長達七十三頁之選票上分別做了選擇,也不到十分鐘完成了一個選民之責任,對此我們應該有同樣之感受。
多年來,我們在這塊土地上打拼,許多華裔同胞們日漸感到投票之重要性,唯有選票才能選賢予能,為國家選出自己認為優秀之政治領袖。
在民主政治之運作中,絕不可小看自己的一票,每一票都代表了一份力量和責任。
總統大選之投票將於下週二舉行,並將於當天開票公告當選人,這次之大選是近年來票數最接近而且將會打破投票率。
在首次休斯敦國際博覽會之晚會上,市長惠特曼非常感性的說出我們是一個公民,但絕不忘自己族裔文化之根,而且還要繼續發揚光大,兩者是可以共容的。

At 2:00pm on Friday, I caught up with the last day of the early voting for the presidential election and I cast my vote. I looked over the 73 pages to vote, and spent 15 minutes to finish my voting.
