雪佛蘭油公司遷移休斯敦

世界最大的石油公司之一雪佛蘭決定從今年底將公司總部從加州聖拉蒙市遷到德州休斯敦，其中包括七千名員工在內也將陸續搬到德卅。

該公司發言人表示，我們有許多困難新進員工不願搬到加州，這裡生活物價高漲，稅收較重是我們搬到休斯敦之主要原因之一。

隨着川普總統上台,新政府將重新大力開採德州石油及天然氣,這將對德州經濟带來極大之利多,必將帶動經濟之全面發展。

二年前當特斯拉及甲古文等重要企業搬進德州之後 ,包括休斯敦、達拉斯、奧斯汀等大城市帶來了大批工商及人口，德州變成全美經濟发展之領頭羊,主要原因是德州不徵收州稅,土地成本較底，而且人力十分充沛。

我們欣見又一家跨國石油公司搬到休斯敦,至少有七千個家庭要搬來,對我們各行各業必然會帶來更多之經濟繁榮。

Chevron Oil Company Is Moving To Houston

Chevron, one of the world's largest oil companies decided to move its headquarters from San Ramon to Houston by the end of this year. The move will including the relocation of 7,000 employees.

The company spokesman said that they have many difficult new employees who are unwilling move to California, where higher living prices and state taxes are the main reasons the company is moving to Houston, Texas.

With President Trump coming into power, the new administration will re-exploit Texas oil and natural gas, which will bring great benefits to the Texas economy.

Two years go when Tesla moved their headquarters to Austin, Dallas and  Houston also welcomed many companies that invested in Texas. Simply because our land and living standards are cheaper and manpower is abundant.

We are here to welcome Chevron to our city. Mayor Whitmire especially will be very happy about this move.
