我們即將啟動國際社區午餐系統活動

自從我有幸被市長任命為休斯敦市府第一機構理事會理事後,已經參加過多次理事會，並能親自參與由第一機構主導之市政建設大项目。其中包括耗資二十億加蓋目前的布朗會議中心工程，除了另一座會議中心外，加上各項文化娛樂設施，將成為大休斯敦之國際會議文化娛樂區，並將於2028年初正式完工使用。

當初市長在任命我出任此職位時，也希望能為本市的少數族裔及國際社區牽線搭橋,參與本市之各項建設工程。

有鍳於此，我們決定利用國際貿易中心及國際區之平台，定期每月中旬舉辦午餐會,並將邀請市府,州政府,商務部,進出口銀行及港務局定期参加會議向工商團體及職業人士講述工程及參與各項工程之投標事項。

國際貿易中心成立二十二年來 ,一直以推動社會文化贸易活動為主要目標,近年來移居此地之商業及居民大增，我們希望以每月定期之午餐會来進一步推動工商業之進步和發展。

We Are Ready To Launch ITC Monthly Luncheons

Since I was honored to be appointed as a Board Member of Houstonfirst Corporation by Mayor Whitmire, I have participated in many meetings focusing on major municipal construction projects, including the new Convention District which will cost $2 billion dollars and will add on another convention center and various culture and entertainment areas and officially will be completed in early 2028.

One of my duties is to connect many small and middle-sized businesses to participate in various projects in the city. Therefore, we decided to use the platform of the International Trade Center and the International District to hold luncheons regularly each month and invite the municipal and state governments, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the SBA and Port of Houston to join the meeting to talk about their projects and discuss bidding and other matters of participating in various projects.

Since we established the International Trade Center twenty-two years ago, our main goal has been to promote the culture and economic prosperity of the community. We hope the monthly luncheons will help to connect the governments and private sectors.
