休斯敦首富棄商從政

德州休斯敦首富富蒂達今日宣佈放棄他手創之商業帝國，出任由川普總統任命出使美國駐義大利特命全權大使，他的商業範圍包括六百多家餐館，賭場及火箭藍球隊。

他在一封公開信中表示，假如得到參院之通過，我將退出所有企業之經營團隊，並辭去所有非營利組織之職位。

富蒂達每年從他投資之股票中可以分到六百萬以上之紅利，尤其在他的餐廳事業更是全美首屈一指。

這位商界之傳奇人物可謂是位德州佬，出生在休斯敦海濱城市加文斯敦，自幼年開始就在餐廳中打滾學習，𠙖著一股十足之氣在餐旅賭場界打下一片天。

在他事業有成之後對於社會公益更是非常熱心，近年來捐獻休斯敦大學醫學院, 對醫療服務作出極大貢獻。

我們祝福他出任新大使職務，更是休斯敦人之光榮。

Fertitta Prepares To Become U.S. Ambassador To Italy

Houston billionaire Tilman Fertitta will resign as CEO 

of Landry’s Inc., as well as more than 600 restaurants, casinos and other entertainment businesses to become the Ambassador to Italy.

Fertitta is also the largest shareholder in Wynn Resorts. The mogul also disclosed income in excess of $6 million dollars from holdings in a variety of public trading companies.

This legendary figure in the business world is said to  be very proud of his Texas heritage. He was born in Galveston, Texas, a coastal city near Houston. He has been learning the restaurant business since he was just a child.

After his career success, he was very enthusiastic about social welfare. In recent years, he donated a medical school to the University of Houston making a great contribution to medical services in the city.

We wish him much success as the Ambassador to Italy, which is also for the glory of all the people in Houston.
