世风日下 无故杀人

在只有人口七万三千人的南卡小鎭石山市，週三下午发生惊悚惨案，三十二岁的职业美式足球运动员亚当公然闯进赖世利医生私宅，把他和太太及两个孙子及冷气修理师全部杀害，兇手稍后也自刎死亡。

小镇警长对於行兇之原因一头雾水，想不出这名黑人球员為什麼要下此毒手，他曾於二〇一〇年效力旧金山四十九足球队后卫球员，事发之后，全国震惊，小镇上弥漫着哀愁，他们说赖利医生我们都认识他，他是我们镇裡的中坚力量，有近四十年的行医记录。

在此同时，距离休士顿不远的德州农工大学所在地布莱尔市，一名櫉柜生產公司之工人也在工厂内开枪扫射，打死一名同事有多人受伤。

近月来，美国全国各地是遍地枪，从亚大兰大到柯罗拉多，每天都有许多兇杀案 ，而且是滥杀无辜。

我们要大声疾呼，禁枪法案之修正已经到了刻不容缓之地步了，枪枝汜滥已经到了无法拯救的地步，我们敬告国会参眾议员诸位，请你们扪心自问，这些不断上演的悲剧何时才中止，这已经是国家之危机时刻了。

Senseless Killing Is A National Crisis

Former NFL player Phillip Adams opened fire in the city of Rock Hill, South Carolina,  inside the home of Dr. Robert Leslie killing him and his wife Barbara and two of their grandchildren ages 5 and 9. The air conditioner man was also killed outside of the house. The shooter was found in a house nearby dead from a self-inflicted gun wound.

Detectives are still searching for a motive and said that, “… there’s nothing about this right now that makes sense to any of us.”

Dr. Robert Leslie was a prominent physician in the city who had been practicing medicine there since 1981. He also served as Winthrop University’s supervising physician and medical director.

Adams played in the NFL as a defensive back from 2010 to 2015 for teams including the San Francisco 49ers.

In the meantime, in Bryan, Texas, not too far from Houston, police said five people were shot, one of them fatally, at an industrial complex which is located in the shadow of Texas A&M University.

These senseless shootings have already become a national crisis. We need to support President Biden to pass a new gun control bill in congress.
