世界真亂

今天打開新聞，映入眼簾的仍是戰爭、衝突、政治對立、經濟壓力與社會撕裂。世界科技愈來愈進步，人類彼此之間的距離愈來愈近，但和平與理解似乎沒有隨之增加。

大國之間相互競爭，小國則在夾縫中尋求生存；不同政黨彼此攻擊，不同族群互不信任。關稅、能源、移民、宗教與領土等問題，都可能成為新的衝突來源。許多普通百姓只希望擁有一份安定的工作、一個安全的家，以及可以照顧家人的正常生活，卻常常成為政治角力與戰爭最大的受害者。

世界真亂，亂的不只是國際局勢，更是人心。

當謠言比真相傳得更快，仇恨比理性更容易獲得掌聲，社會便很難找到共同方向。新聞媒體、政府領袖和社區領袖都肩負重要責任：不能只放大恐懼與對立，更要努力尋找事實、溝通與解決問題的方法。

面對混亂，我們不能只是抱怨，也不能失去希望。每一個人都可以從自己的家庭、工作與社區做起。多一分理解，少一分偏見；多一次對話，少一次攻擊；多幫助一個需要幫助的人，世界便可能少一點冷漠。

休斯敦是一座由不同民族、文化和宗教共同建立的國際城市。我們更應證明：背景不同的人不但可以和平共處，也可以共同創造繁榮。世界愈亂，我們愈需要團結；局勢愈不確定，我們愈應堅守善良、公義與理性。

黑暗的時代需要有人點燈，分裂的社會需要有人搭橋。

世界雖然很亂，但我們仍然可以選擇不讓自己的心也跟著亂。只要人類願意重新學習尊重、合作與包容，和平就不只是一個遙遠的理想，而可能從我們今天所做的一件小事開始。

What a Chaotic World

Every day, we open the news and are confronted with war, conflict, political division, economic uncertainty, and social unrest. Technology continues to advance, bringing people closer together than ever before. Yet peace and mutual understanding seem increasingly difficult to achieve.

Major powers compete for influence, while smaller nations struggle to survive between them. Political parties attack one another, and different communities often view each other with suspicion. Trade, energy, immigration, religion, and territorial disputes can all become sources of new conflict.

Most ordinary people simply want a stable job, a safe home, and the opportunity to care for their families. Yet they frequently become the greatest victims of war and political confrontation.

The world is chaotic—but the disorder is not limited to international affairs. It also exists within the human heart.

When misinformation travels faster than truth, hatred receives more attention than reason, and fear becomes a political weapon, society loses its common direction. Governments, community leaders, and the news media all carry an important responsibility. We must not merely amplify fear and division; we must seek facts, encourage dialogue, and help find practical solutions.

In the face of disorder, we cannot simply complain or surrender our hope. Each of us can begin with our own family, workplace, and community. A little more understanding and a little less prejudice; one more conversation and one less attack; one more helping hand extended to someone in need—each action can make the world less divided and less indifferent.

Houston is an international city built by people of many cultures, nationalities, and faiths. We should demonstrate that people from different backgrounds can not only live together peacefully but also work together to create shared prosperity.

The more chaotic the world becomes, the more united we must be. The greater the uncertainty, the more firmly we must stand for kindness, justice, and reason.

Dark times need people willing to light a candle. Divided societies need people willing to build bridges.

The world may be chaotic, but we do not have to allow our hearts to become chaotic as well. If humanity can learn again to respect, cooperate, and care for one another, peace will no longer be merely a distant dream. It can begin with one small action that each of us takes today.
