從阿富汗全面撤軍

拜登總統決心從九月十一日撒除在阿富汗之駐軍，也將是結束美國参与的最長戰爭。

911 是一個令美國悲痛的日子，二十年前由賓拉登率領的恐怖份子，炸毀了紐約世貿大樓之雙子星樓，超過五千人喪生，小布希總統因而發動了對阿富汗之戰爭，二十年年來，二千三百名美軍死亡，成千上萬的伤兵，大約毫盡二兆美金的費用。

當美軍全撤之後，反政府的塔利班將會繼續佔領二OO一年他們所擁有之土地，現任政府是否可能支撐下去，還是個疑問。

當年美國總統要進攻阿富汗之理由是，那些恐怖分子躲藏在阿富汗，因而結合了北約部隊大舉入侵阿富汗，這場冗長殘酷之战爭，造成成千上萬家破人亡之悲劇，但是仍然沒有解決基本之問題。

世界大局因為百年來罕見的疫情而改變，深受戰爭痛苦又贫窮之國家，真是雪上加霜。

End Of America’s Longest War

President Biden has decided to remove U.S. troops from Afghanistan by September 11 to end American’s longest war.

The date is very significant. September 11, 2021, is 20 years after the 9/11 attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania that led the U.S. to attack Afghanistan in the first place. In those two decades more than 2,300 military lives have been lost and tens of thousands wounded. We have spent more than $2 trillion in taxpayer money.

The actions were designed to disrupt the use of Afghanistan as a terrorist base for operations and to attack the military capabilities of the Taliban regime.

This is about time we have to make this decision because we don’t want endless wars and neither do the American people.

With the pandemic still very serious around the world, most of the poor countries especially have suffered economically with COVID-19 and they don’t have the vaccine or even food to feed their people.

We really urge all the world’s leaders to talk about the needs of the people. The future of the world really hangs in the balance. Any war will not solve the problem at all.
