國會諸公 䄂手旁觀？

全國疾病防疫專家福其博士說，我自己作為公衛專家，你將無法逃避責任， 當我們看到近來連串發生的槍殺無數無辜事件，你如何能否定為公共卫生問題和危機？

自從三月十六日以來，美國全國總共發生了四十五起大型謀殺事件，包括兩天前在印第安那州聯邦快遞中心八名員工被同事槍殺。

拜登總統聲稱，我們每天都不斷在各地發生了槍殺悲劇，而且還不斷在繼續上演， 這真是國家的尷尬，我們一定要終結它。

今年三月，民主党在國會提出了两項管制槍枝法案，其中包括對於槍支交換的背景審查，包括在網上之交易，但是，這項法案無法在參院取得六十票之支持。

越來越多的民眾表示支持槍枝管控，包括國會共和黨議員在內，不幸的是，能達到絕大多數還有一大距離。

我們非常遺憾的指出，并贊同福其博士之觀點，這也是我們面對的公共衛生疾病的危機，如果疫情無法缓減，人民生活壓力日增，心理健康问题嚴重，槍殺事件將会繼續蔓延，國會諸公能袖手旁觀嗎？！

Congress Needs To Act ASAP!

The U.S. has suffered at least 45 mass shootings since March 16, after the recent shooting at the Indianapolis Fed Ex facility that left eight people dead. President Biden called the recent spate of mass shootings “a national embarrassment” and urged the Congress to take action.

Dr. Anthony Fauci said in a TV interview that he was thinking as a public health person when he saw so many people getting killed in all of last month. 

“It’s just been horrifying what’s happened,” Fauci said. “How can we say that this is not a public health issue?”

In March of this year the Democrats in the House passed two gun reform bills that would expand background checks, including one that would required checks on all sales and transfers including between private parties at gun shows and over the internet. But this bill needs 60 votes in Senate to pass.

We so much regret and are very angry that this mass killing is happening all over the nation each and every day! How many lives we have lost with no reason! We urge the lawmakers in Washington to act as soon as possible.
