我們迎來國際貿易中心20 週年

二十年前的春天，當我們完成了美南新聞媒體中心之大樓時，我們邀集了一些社區人士倡議成立國際貿易中心，來推廣國際間之文化經濟交流，這些當年參與之伙伴們仍然繼續堅持我們初衷，為大休斯敦地區之社會貢獻了一份力量。

國際貿易中心在過去之歲月中，曾經接待過國際知名人士，包括美國總統克林頓夫婦、各國總理、外長、貿易部長，並且和萊斯大學合辦了多次學術文化貿易研討會，和美國商務部中小企業會金融機構為超過一萬家中小企業提供服務。

正逢中心二十歲生日，我們特別將在十一月十一日舉行盛大慶祝活動，邀請政商各界及前交通部長趙小蘭為宴會贵賓及主講人，並將頒奬給四位對社會國家有功之人士。

一路走來，我們從草根社區走向世界也算是小兵立大功。

We Are Celebrating The 20-Year Anniversary Of The International Trade Center

In the springtime of 2002, a group of our community leaders got together to try and  organize an International Trade Center to serve our community and connect to the world. 

Twenty years later many of us are still working on our original goal to promote and create business around the world. 

Over the last 20 years we have served more than 10,000 small businesses in the Houston area. We have greeted many guests and politicians including former President Bill Clinton, and we also have co-sponsored many seminars with Rice University, the U.S. Department of Commerce Commercial Service and the SBA Score program. We also have sponsored many festival events in the Houston area.

We are very proud of our record over the past 20 years. On the upcoming date of November 11^th, we will be hosting a Twenty-Year ITC Gala and have invited former Secretary of Transportation, Elaine Chao to be our keynote speaker at the event. 

We will also honor Mr. Lee Cook, Nancy Meyer, Rob Scharar and Teta Banks for their outstanding contributions to our community and the nation at the Gala.
