Thanksgiving Day Says Thanks

Thanksgiving is a traditional western holiday and an original holiday for Americans. It is also a day for the family to reunite. In 1863, after independence in the United States, President Lincoln officially declared Thanksgiving a national holiday until 1941 when the U.S. Congress officially designated the fourth Thursday of November as Thanksgiving.

At noon today we held the annual Thanksgiving luncheon in our News Center. We invited some friends and colleagues together to celebrate and really appreciated the full support from all of them.

Over the last several years we have faced countless challenges and crises, such as flooding, Covid-19, social unrest and financial turmoil, but we always have hard-working partners and readers and audiences who support us all the way.

We also need to thank this land for giving us the opportunity to survive and develop.

A good friend John joined us today. He is a self-made billionaire. He immigrated from Europe to the United States as a young man and created a billion dollars in wealth over the past few decades. The example of his success is everywhere and this mostly happens only in America.

On this Thanksgiving day, we need to remember to always be grateful and thankful.
