147 法案之嚴重後果

德州參議院準備提出之法案，針對來自中國大陸、 伊朗、 俄羅斯及北朝鮮之公民不能在德州購買土地之提案， 激起了華裔社區之巨大反對， 我們認為是一個澈頭澈尾的反華行為，也是對我們同是黃色人種亞裔的挑戰。

我們首先要感謝這塊土地接納了無數來自世界各地的移民， 他們在此落地生根 ，辛苦工作， 養兒育女 ，為美國社會做出了偉大之貢獻。 我們始終崇尚美國憲法保障人權，人人平等之立國精神， 我們始終認為美國能夠保持強大，其中最重要的是繼續接納全世界之優秀移民， 當然應該包括華裔在內。

此惡法如果通過， 將會嚴重影響華亞裔前來德州投資之意願， 對地產経濟及各行各業將有沉重之打擊。

我們身為華亞裔之媒體代表， 要非常慎重地呼籲艾伯特州長千萬不可簽署此法案， 決不可把反中之情緒影響到華裔族群之生計。

我也要提醒其他亞裔族群， 不管你來自何處， 我們都有同樣之膚色， 這種歧視是我們共同之難題和挑戰， 不可不慎。

The Serious Consequences Of Bill 147

The Bill 147 in the Texas Senate that proposes to ban citizens from Mainland  China, North Korea, Iran and Russia from buying land in Texas has aroused great opposition from Chinese communities around the nation. We believe that it is a clear anti-Chinese act and a challenge to all other Asians who are of the same yellow race. 

First of all, we would like to thank this great American country for accepting countless immigrants from all over the world. They  have worked hard and have made great contributions to American society. We have always advocated for the spirit of the U.S. Constitution which guarantees human rights and states that everyone is equal. We also believe that the reason we can keep the country strong is because we are continuing to accept new immigrants from all over the world and, of course, that should include Chinese . 

As an Asian media organization, we want to urge Governor Abbott to not sign this bill. If it is signed into law, it will deeply affect the livelihoods of our entire community. 

We also want to remind all in the Asian community that we share the same skin color. This kind of discrimination will surely become our common problem.
