拜登總統之子亨特拜登已經和司法部達成協議，就三項稅收及槍支指控承認有罪， 但他將不會做牢。

在週二法院的一份文件中， 現年五十三歲總統之子承認在2017 及2018 年中未按時報稅， 同意接受緩刑。 在法庭文件中同時指出他在2018 年購買手槍期間曾經吸毒，  司法部同意對他不起訴， 並和他達成協議，在兩年內保持戒毒狀況並同意永不再擁有槍械。

享特之律師在一項聲明中說， 亨特相信為自己在生活不檢及犯下毒癮期間犯下之錯誤承擔責任是非常重要的。

享特拜登之判決是五年司法調查劃下句點，但是共和黨議員及前總統川普確大加抨擊 並聲稱不會停止對拜登家族之調查。

我們要非常遺憾地指出， 這又是一件令人感到失望的事件。 亨特拜登過去多年顯然是利用其父親在政治上的地位來做諸多經濟及政治上 之交易， 因而構成逃稅、 吸毒之不法行為。

古今中外 ，許多官場及富二代之惡劣行徑，  已經是不勝枚舉， 亨特之行為也嚴重影響到拜登總統家族之形象 ，甚至未來之選舉， 相信是一個非常熱門之話題。

President Biden’s son Hunter Biden has reached an agreement with the Justice Department to plead guilty to three tax issues and gun charges, but he will not serve any jail time for his crimes.  

Court documents show that 53-year-old Hunter admitted that he didn’t file tax returns in 2017 and 2018 and agreed to accept a probation sentence. The documents also showed that Hunter had taken drugs during the purchase of a weapon in 2018. The Justice Department agreed not to prosecute him, but he will need to          maintain detoxification for the next two years and agree to never purchasing a firearm again. 

Hunter’s lawyer said in a statement that it is very important for Hunter to take responsibility for the mistakes he has made over the past several years. This also marks the end of an intensive five-year investigation of Hunter Biden. But Republicans and former President Trump said that they will not stop the ongoing investigation of Biden’s family. For sure, this will be a very hot topic in the upcoming election. 

Hunter’s case is still very serious and could affect President Biden’s political future.
