十八條好漢一條心

週六上午在美國德州休斯敦國際區美南新聞廣場上， 天上萬里晴空， 地下十八條好漢為將來的環球第一銀行金融中心大廈剷上沙土， 為我們多年來奮鬥之目標插下了第一個標竿。

近五年多來之艱難歲月， 我們團隊沒有退縮過， 兄弟們多半是來到這塊土地的新移民， 大家秉持勤儉認真之刻苦精神， 如今在傳媒、 金融銀行、旅館、 加油站、  地產 、高科技、 法律、 學術界卓有所成 ，我們的基本信念是創辦一家永續經營的社區銀行為大家服務。

這次的計劃方案並非易事， 正逢百年未遇之新冠疫情加上復雜繁琐堆聚如山之申請文件， 絕非當初所想之易事。

在最後關頭我們相互鼓勵加油， 最後以絕不放棄之毅力， 終於心想事成， 美夢成真。

今天我們最初參加籌備的創辦人， 共聚一堂， 在好友格林議員的見證下， 為這家新銀行奠定堅實之基石。

禮畢後我們送他上車，和他併肩而行， 他的微笑充滿着祝賀和期待， 確實這步到達工地的路已走了整整五年， 這份勝利甜美之果實將會在大家的人生圖騰上劃下重重的一筆。

我們開始了新的征路， 多少好友同事共聚一堂， 慶祝銀行的第一個聖誕節日， 歌聲欢笑和佳餚， 我們已經是一個溫馨的大家庭。

Eighteen Founders With One Heart 

On Saturday, December 17, 2023, at the Southern News Group square, it was a beautiful day with a blue sky above as the founders of Global One Bank along with Congressman Al Green attended the bank's ground-breaking ceremony, the day we had been expecting for many years. 

Most of our founders are new immigrants who came to this land and have adhered to the spirit of diligence and seriousness. Now they have achieved great success in banking, hotels, gas stations, real estate, high tech, legal and academic circles. Our common goal now is to establish a community bank to serve our whole community. 

This plan was not easy. The Covid-19 pandemic which had never been seen in a century and the complicated application documents that were required gathered like a mountain. It was not as easy as we thought at the beginning. 

With a 'never giving up spirit,' we finally succeeded in opening the new bank. This sweet victory will mark a heavy stroke on everyone’s life totem.

Tonight together we all celebrated the first Global One Bank Christmas party with so much joy as we were joined by many dear friends who also attended. Now we have really become a warm family.
