走進人生的新地標

今晨走進了位於休斯敦美洲大道的休斯敦第一機構之大門，是我的第一次，也是我人生旅途中之新地標。

今年五月上旬，有幸被休斯敦市市長惠特曼提名為[休斯敦第一機構]董事一職，並且在市議會上全票通過正式任命出任新職，心中感到無比之榮幸，亦深感市府對我們新一屆董事會寄予之厚望。

休斯敦第一機構是主管市府擁有之十二個文化經濟及旅館事業單位，為美國第四大城推動觀光文化及經濟之繁榮將休斯敦推向全球。

二十多年來，在我主持帶領的休斯敦國際區及國際貿易中心在全體同仁們之共同努力下，我們已經成為休斯敦地區耀眼的經濟模範區，這也代表了我們對社區之貢獻。

今天得到市長及市民之付託，我一定會盡其所能，為休斯敦繼續走向世界舞台而努力。

Entering A New Landmark In My Life

This Morning I walked through the door of Houston First Corporation located 

in downtown Houston. It was my first time stepping foot inside, marking a new landmark in my journey of life.

In early May, I was honored to be nominated by Mayor Whitmire to serve as a board member of Houston First Corporation and my appointment was unanimously approved by the Mayor and the City Council. I feel immensely privileged and deeply grateful for the trust that city government has placed in our new board.

Houston First oversees twelve culture, economic, and hospitality entities and venues owned by the City of Houston, contributing to the promotion of tourism, culture, and economic prosperity in the fourth largest city in the nation.

Over the last twenty years, the Houston International District and International Trade Center with the collective efforts of all our colleagues, have transformed our area into a shining economic role model for the City of Houston.

Today, receiving the trust of the Mayor and the citizens, I will do my upmost to continue propelling Houston onto the global stage.
