賀錦麗接長民主黨參選總統之大旗,立即在全美各地總動員,準備和氣勢如虹之共和黨一決高下。

副總統昨天来到休斯敦向教師年會演說，她在此地有一些老朋友,包括狄生牧師在內正在號召宗教界人士為她助選。

共和及民主兩黨在各種政見上都存有重大歧見，其中移民政策最為顯著。如果川普回朝,他必然會減少每年移民配額,尤其對中國大陸之學生及非移民簽證必然會有更多之限制。

這次賀錦麗能以非裔及亞裔身份來競選總統,我們身為亞裔也感到慶幸,只有在美國才會如此之機會。

Each Other Head-To-Head

When Kamala Harris accepted the banner of the Democratic Party‘s candidacy for the Presidency, she immediately traveled all over the United States to prepare for a decisive confrontation with the powerful Republican Party.

Vice President Harris came to Houston yesterday to speak at the annual meeting of teachers. She has some old friends here including Bishop Nixon who is calling on religious people to help her with her election campaign.

The Republican and Democratic parties have major differences with various political views. Among them is the immigration policy which is the most significant. If Trump returns to the White House, he will inevitably reduce the annual immigration quota, especially for students and non-immigrant visas for China.

Today all of us need to open our eyes to look for the right leader to lead our country. This election is not just for us, but also for the future of the world.
