 我們為何而戰?

今天在美國的華亞裔正面臨前所未有之挑戰 ,美國國會兩黨在國會議程上唯一共同點就是對抗中國大陸之崛起，正在挑戰美國在全球之地位。

根據德州眾議員吳元之之說法，德州議員共和黨議員再次要提案禁止中國大陸,北韓,伊朗等國家之公民在德州購買房地產。在該案中更包括他們被禁止上美國大學及就業機會，這簡直是早年美國反華條例之翻版，那些不認為自己非來自上述三國的人不要以為事不關己，如果此法案在議會通過實施，,其影響是全方面的。

我們今天成為美國這個國家之一份子，更應該勇敢站出來，以選票來保障我們之権益。

      Why Are We Fighting?

Today, Asian-Americans, and especially Chinese, are facing unprecedented challenges. The only commonality of agreement that exists between the two parties in Congress on the agenda is to fight against the rise of mainland China and fight any challenges to the global status of the United States.

According to our state representative Gene Wu, Republicans in the state house and senate once again want to propose a bill to prohibit citizens from China, North Korea and Iran from buying real estate in Texas. They might even ban some students from universities and others from employment, which is a replica of the earlier anti-Chinese law. If this bill passes in the state legislature, its impact will affect all of us.

Today we need to stand up and speak out to fight for our rights and for our future as well as for the next generation.
