休斯敦國際博覧會代表之意義

距離第一屆德州休斯敦國際博覽會之召開只有兩星期，我們正在緊鑼密鼓地進行各項籌備工作，這項活動對於我們是一項極大之挑戰，也代表了對社區和國家特殊之意義。

近百年來我們從全世界各角落移居到這塊土地上，我們的先輩以艱忍不拔之奮鬥精神在此成家立業，而且他們的第二代大多成為社會之楝樑，無論在商業、醫學、工業、財經方面都有非常卓越之表現。

此次博覽會我們得到市長,國會,國務院，商業部及許多大中小企業之支持,並對許多在外交,教育,商業方面之𠎀出人士給予表揚。

大會將於十月三十日星期三下午二時由市長惠特曼主持歡迎酒會，並於十月三十一日整天舉辦各型座談會並於當晚有盛大晚宴。

我們期待此次大會能表彰國際社區對社會之愛護和貢獻。

The Significance Of The First Houston International Expo

There are only two weeks left before the First Houston International Expo and we are now in full swing making all the many preparations. This event is a great challenge for us, and it also has a special significance to the community and to the country.

Over the past one hundred years, we have moved to this land from all corners of the world. Our ancestors have made families and careers here in a spirit of unwavering struggle, and most of their second generations have become the backbone 

of society. They have achieved many excellent performances in business, medicine, industry and finance.

For this Expo, we are being supported by the Mayor of Houston, our Congressman, the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Department Of Commerce, as well as many local businesses.

The schedule for the Expo includes the Mayor’s Reception at Houston's City Hall on October 30th at 2:00 pm and the whole day event on October 31st.
