追求成為國家主人翁

美南新聞傳媒集團在過去數十年之艱辛奮鬥中,我們目睹了多少令人振奮動人心弦的故事,我們在全美十大城市出版之平面及電視網站媒體為華亞裔社區記錄了無數之成功或失敗之故事,我們透過電視鏡頭及記者們之精彩文章,為華亞裔在新大陸留下了歷史之篇章。

今天我們眼見多少來自亞洲及世界之移民,他們多半在年少時期來到美國，以他們所學之專業為這片土地培養了各行精英,有企業家,醫務工作者,律師,會計師,工程師,政治家,他們都實現了自己的美國夢,同時成為社會之楝樑。

隨著川普政府之上台,世界之大局必定會出現變化,當然美國國內之情勢也會產生非常大之影響。我們必須清楚地認識到國內許多法規稅務及公共法律之變更,對我們社區皆會造成嚴重影響。

我們要在此呼籲所有華亞裔人士必須加強團結,首先要改變觀念,我們決非過客而是這個國家之主人,我們對國家社會之貢獻是有目共睹。

Our Common American Dream -- The Pursuit For Success On The New Continent

Over the past several decades after much hard work, we have witnessed many exciting success stories in our community. Our print, TV and website media are now published in ten U.S. cities and have recorded countless failure to success stories in the Chinese and Asian communities. Through the lens of countless TV reports and the many wonderful articles of our reporters, a pattern 

of successes has been revealed over time and clearly shows a new historical chapter of Asian achievement on the new continent.

Today, we are seeing how many immigrants have arrived from Asia and from all around the world. Most 

of them came to America when they were very young and trained at the top universities from all walks of life of life in this land with their chosen majors in many professions. They became entrepreneurs, entered the medical field, became lawyers, accountants, engineers and politicians and they reached their American Dream.

With the beginning of the Trump administration,the overall situation of the world is bound to change. Of course, the domestic situation in the United States will also have a great impact universally.

We must clearly realize that changes in many domestic regulations, taxes and public laws will have a serious impact on all our communities.

As the Year of the Snake approaches, we would like to wish all of you a very Happy New Year. In the meantime, we soon will publish the Who’s Who of Asian achievers which will be called, "Our Common American Dream."
