強震襲擊緬甸及周邊國家

三月二十六日下午二時二十分在緬甸發生七點九級地震,包括雲南泰國地區也有強烈之地震，這是全球各地第十七次發生的六級以上地震。

根據最新統計報告，在緬甸重災區曼德勒內比都地區死亡人數已經超過五十，有三百多人受傷，當地震發生時，位於泰國曼谷市中心正在興建中之一大高樓倒塌，已致五人死亡一百多人受傷。

雲南地區和緬甸近隣的怒江，德宏及保山地區皆出現明顯震感。

緬甸軍人政府已經向世界各國求援，希望得到各界之幫助，過去半世紀以來,緬甸在軍政府之執政下民不聊生，是名列亞洲最貧窮之國家,此次遭受嚴重地震破壞，國家基礎建設非常落後，絕經不起此次災難之打擊,我們希望大家能伸出援手來拯救苦難之災民。

   A Strong Earthquake Has Hit Myanmar And Neighboring Countries

At 2:22 pm on March 26, a magnitude 7.9 earthquake occurred in Myanmar, including      strong earthquakes in Yunan   

and Thailand. This was the 17th magnitude 6-size earthquake, or above, this year in the region.

According to most recent reports, more than 50 people are dead and 300 people are injured in the Mandalay and Nebidu areas,      and include destruction of a tall building under construction in Bangkok which collapsed, killing five people and injuring many.

There were obvious earthquakes reported along the border with China, including China's Baoshan area.

Myanmar’s military government has sought help from the countries around the world. Over the past century, unaided by the rule of the  military regime, Myanmar has been ranked as the poorest country 

in Asia. This time it has suffered from severe earthquake damage, and the national infrastructure construction is very weak. We hope all the people of the world can lend a hand to save the suffering victims.
