中美掀起貿易大戰

在川普宣佈美國解放日對等關稅之後不到三十六小時,北京迅速出台了一系列措施包括對美國徵收百分之三十四關稅，中國無意退让。在此同時，中國商務部還對七種稀土元素實施許可証制度，並對十一家美國公司列入不可靠實體名單，禁止他們在中國大陸開展業務。

這兩國世界上最大的貿易體,正在全面展開對抗,也說明全球自由貿易制度將會走向末路。兩天來華爾街股市之劇烈下挫,反應了市井小民對經濟之擔憂，許多人的退休賬戶在縮水,全美各地之市民週六走向街頭抗議示威,這証明川普之做法正在危及國內外之前途。

我們深知美國是個債台高築之國家，川普為了平衡赤字預算及減少債務,必須以激烈手段來進行改革,但是我們必須照顧到多數之市井小民,許多人已生活在貧窮線上,他們在去年十一月投票給川普,也不過希望能過上些好日子，但是現在呢？

China And The United States Have Launched A Trade War

Less than 36 hours after President Trump announced the U.S. "Liberation Day" reciprocal tariffs, Beijing immediately introduced a series of reciprocal measures, including imposing 34% tariffs on all U.S. goods. At the same time, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce has also implemented a permit system for seven rare earth elements and included eleven American companies on the list of "unreliable entities" to prohibit them from doing business in China.

The world’s two largest economies now are in full-scale confrontation, which most importantly shows that the global free trade system is coming to an end. The sharp decline in the stock market last week reflects the concerns of ordinary people about their investments and their retirement accounts. Thousands of people went to street last week to protest against Trump.

We are well aware that we are a country with a very high national debt. So in order to address the budget and reduce the debt, President Trump needs to carry out reforms by drastic means. But at the same time, we must face the fact that a lot of people already live on the poverty line and many of them voted for Trump  and they were hoping to have a better life. But what about now?
