Harvard Says NO! To The Trump Administration

The new Trump administration has frozen over $2.2 billion in federal funding to Harvard University, citing the school’s refusal to comply with its demand to restrict campus projects. This action was part of a broader move targeting six Ivy League institutions.
Harvard, a historic university with an endowment exceeding $50 billion, has the strength and resources to stand up to federal pressure.

President Alan Garber, in a public letter to students and alumni, declared that Harvard would not surrender its independence or constitutional rights. Regardless of which party holds power, he said government has no place interfering in private universities’ decisions regarding admissions hiring or student life.

The move has sparked widespread discussion both and off campus. The Trump administration claims its actions aim to pressure schools into enforcing stricter policies against antisemitism on campus.
