台灣無人機代表團訪問休斯敦

由前國立台灣師範大學校長黃博士所率領的台灣無人機產業代表團，今日抵達休斯敦，展開在德州的交流訪問。該代表團成員多為台灣無人機技術的研發者與業界領導者，此行旨在深入了解美國在航空科技、城市應用及邊境巡防等領域的需求，尋求合作契機。

休斯敦作為全美航空航太產業的重鎮之一，對於無人機應用有著廣泛的開發空間。代表團此行拜會當地產業機構與大學研究單位，並規劃參訪相關企業與實驗基地。雙方就智慧城市建設、農業監測、災害預警及物流運輸等無人機應用場景展開熱烈討論。

Taiwan UAV Delegation Visits Houston

A delegation of Taiwanese drone industry leaders, led by Dr. Huang, the former president of the National Taiwan Normal University, arrived in Houston today as part of a technology exchange visit to Texas. The group is comprised of key figures in Taiwan’s UAV research and manufacturing sectors, and their goal is to explore opportunities for collaboration with American institutions and industries.

Houston, known as a major hub for aerospace innovation in the United States, offers tremendous potential for unmanned aerial vehicle applications.

The delegation’s itinerary includes meetings with local research centers, academic institutions, and drone-related enterprises. Discussions covered a wide range of topics, including smart city infrastructure, agricultural monitoring, disaster response and logistics solutions enabled by UAV technology.

In the evening, a dinner reception was hosted by members of the local Asian American community and business associations. The warm hospitality and vibrant conversations highlighted not only the mutual interests in technological cooperation, but also the pride that overseas Taiwanese share in their homeland’s growing global presence in high-tech fields.
