Experts from multiple universities, over a dozen educational institutions, and various community organizations participated in the event. They provided guidance on college application strategies, scholarship information, mental health resources, and career development for Asian American, Latino, African American, and students of all backgrounds—making it a vivid example of promoting educational equity within Houston’s diverse communities.

Several universities and training institutions hosted information booths, including Houston Christian University (HCU), Houston Community College (HCC), Rice University, University of Houston (Main & Downtown), Prairie View A&M University, Elite Educational Institute, and others. Several students even received on-site pre-admission offers and scholarship checks.
A major highlight of the event was its three signature panel discussions on admission trends, success skills, and mental health.
Panel 1, Ready, Set, College Admission, featured:
- Jay Ku (Director of Elite Prep Houston)
- Dr. Colleen Reilly (Vice President of Houston Community College Southwest)
- Charles Murphy (Executive Director of Admission at Rice University)
They answered questions directly from students and parents.
