德州理工大學推出全新「GalvanICED」戰袍　攜手馬霍姆斯點燃全美關注

德州理工大學紅襲者（Texas Tech Red Raiders）將於 11 月 8 日主場對戰楊百翰大學（BYU）時，首度亮相與校友、NFL 超級四分衛暨阿迪達斯代言人派屈克・馬霍姆斯（Patrick Mahomes）攜手打造的全新球衣 —— 「GalvanICED」。

這套戰袍以純白為基底，搭配金屬光澤薄膜與「力量紅」細節，靈感源自德州理工校園常見的 45 度斜面設計，以及馬霍姆斯個人標誌的稜角風格。頭盔、號碼與標誌皆以鍍鋅金屬質感呈現，凸顯冰冷而強烈的視覺效果。紅襲者更在社群媒體上以「Winter is coming 🥶（寒冬將至）」作為宣傳標語，引發熱烈討論。

馬霍姆斯表示：「能在母校球衣上看到我的標誌，對我而言是職業生涯中最具意義的場外成就之一。我很感謝阿迪達斯為我帶來這次獨一無二的機會。」

紅襲者過去數年在體育投資不手軟，從高價延攬全美最佳壘球投手，到打造全美前八的男子籃球隊，展現強烈企圖心。如今再度透過橄欖球舞台，將學校推向全國焦點。

Texas Tech University has unveiled its brand-new “GalvanICED” uniform, created in collaboration with alumnus, NFL superstar quarterback, and Adidas endorser Patrick Mahomes, drawing widespread attention across the United States.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders will debut the new uniform on November 8, when they host Brigham Young University (BYU) at home. The “GalvanICED” design marks the first on-field appearance of a jersey co-created with Mahomes.

The uniform features a pure white base, accented with metallic film elements and “Power Red” details. The design is inspired by the 45-degree angled architecture commonly found on the Texas Tech campus, as well as the sharp, angular style of Mahomes’ personal logo. The helmet, numbers, and logos all use a galvanized metal finish, creating a cold, intense visual impact. The Red Raiders further fueled excitement on social media with the tagline “Winter is coming ”, sparking widespread discussion.

Mahomes said, “Seeing my logo on my alma mater’s uniform is one of the most meaningful off-field achievements of my career. I’m incredibly grateful to Adidas for giving me this one-of-a-kind opportunity.”

In recent years, the Red Raiders have shown strong ambition through heavy investment in athletics—from recruiting one of the nation’s top softball pitchers to building a top-eight men’s basketball program nationwide. Now, they are once again using the football stage to push the university into the national spotlight.

Currently ranked No. 17 nationally, Texas Tech could enter this highly anticipated matchup with an 8–1 record, depending on how the schedule unfolds. The game will not only impact the Big 12 Conference championship race, but could also position the Red Raiders for a potential College Football Playoff berth.
