Lee Family Members from Across America Gather in Houston

Members of the Lee family from across the United States have come together in Houston, united by a shared name, a common heritage, and the warmth of belonging. This gathering is more than a reunion. It is a reminder that even far from our ancestral homes, we remain connected as one family.

Many of us arrived in America carrying little more than a suitcase and the hope of building a better life. We faced unfamiliar surroundings, the challenges of earning a living, and the loneliness of being far from home. Along the way, a kind word or a helping hand from a fellow family member often gave us the strength to keep going.

As a Houstonian and a member of the Lee family, I warmly welcome our relatives and friends who have traveled here. Wherever we live and whatever paths we have followed, this opportunity to come together is something to treasure.

Our family associations help keep these connections alive.
