美國疫情大大好轉

紐約市政府決定從即日起為十二歲以上孩童開始接種疫苗，截止今天，紐約市民已經有八百三十萬人接種，目前有十一萬八千學童施打了疫苗，市府表示，週三一天只有二百四十確診，是有史以來最低之記錄。

美國全國至少一半以上的國民接種了第一劑疫苗，其中更有十二個州接種率高達百分之七十，全國確診人數也控制在二萬人以下。

專家認為，経過了國殤紀念日，今後兩週可能是最大考驗，他們擔心许多不願接種者是傳染之主要來源。

各州分別以送奬券獎學金來鼓勵大家參加接種，拜登總統今天宣布由一千家黑人理髮店及沙龍給客人打疫苗，他希望在七月四日國慶日前，至少有百分之七十的美國人都已經接種之疫苗， 让美國今年夏天和去年完全不一樣。

遺憾的是，包括台灣在內的許多國家，還是一苗難求，許多人都坐飛機到美國來避難打針，執政的民進黨對於民間要買疫苗救命的行動，還在百般刁難，不知居心何在？

America Goes Back To Normalcy

Americans are celebrating steps toward normalcy. President Biden is pushing a major effort toward his goal of having 70% of all American adults to be vaccinated by July 4. Biden also plans to recruit 1,000 black-owned barbershops and salons to provide “shots at the shop” nationwide. The president wants Americans to head into the summer this year feeling dramatically different from last year’s summer. All of us deserve it after the long, long dark winter we’ve all endured.

In New York City, they have started to vaccinate Americans over 12 years old. The state of Alaska has begun offering coronavirus vaccinations at the airports in time for summer travel.

Unfortunately, many countries around the world, including Taiwan, are still out of vaccine. The government is still reviewing the application to let Foxconn‘s Terry Kuo buy 5 million doses of the BioNTech vaccine to be donated to the people of Taiwan. The shots would be airlifted from Germany to Taiwan.

Shanghai Fosun Group has a contract with BioNTch to sell the vaccines in greater China, including Taiwan, but the government said they will only deal with BioNTeh in Germany and they do not trust vaccines from China. Because of the political reasons, whether or not Terry Kuo can get the vaccine delivered is still in the government's hands.
