美国疫情大大好转

纽约市政府决定从即日起為十二岁以上孩童开始接种疫苗，截止今天，纽约市民已经有八百三十万人接种，目前有十一万八千学童施打了疫苗，市府表示，週三一天只有二百四十确诊，是有史以来最低之记录。

美国全国至少一半以上的国民接种了第一剂疫苗，其中更有十二个州接种率高达百分之七十，全国确诊人数也控制在二万人以下。

专家认為，経过了国殤纪念日，今后两週可能是最大考验，他们担心许多不愿接种者是传染之主要来源。

各州分别以送奬券奖学金来鼓励大家参加接种，拜登总统今天宣布由一千家黑人理髮店及沙龙给客人打疫苗，他希望在七月四日国庆日前，至少有百分之七十的美国人都已经接种之疫苗， 让美国今年夏天和去年完全不一样。

遗憾的是，包括台湾在内的许多国家，还是一苗难求，许多人都坐飞机到美国来避难打针，执政的民进党对於民间要买疫苗救命的行动，还在百般刁难，不知居心何在？

America Goes Back To Normalcy

Americans are celebrating steps toward normalcy. President Biden is pushing a major effort toward his goal of having 70% of all American adults to be vaccinated by July 4. Biden also plans to recruit 1,000 black-owned barbershops and salons to provide “shots at the shop” nationwide. The president wants Americans to head into the summer this year feeling dramatically different from last year’s summer. All of us deserve it after the long, long dark winter we’ve all endured.

In New York City, they have started to vaccinate Americans over 12 years old. The state of Alaska has begun offering coronavirus vaccinations at the airports in time for summer travel.

Unfortunately, many countries around the world, including Taiwan, are still out of vaccine. The government is still reviewing the application to let Foxconn‘s Terry Kuo buy 5 million doses of the BioNTech vaccine to be donated to the people of Taiwan. The shots would be airlifted from Germany to Taiwan.

Shanghai Fosun Group has a contract with BioNTch to sell the vaccines in greater China, including Taiwan, but the government said they will only deal with BioNTeh in Germany and they do not trust vaccines from China. Because of the political reasons, whether or not Terry Kuo can get the vaccine delivered is still in the government's hands.
