我們共同加強推動休斯敦國際合作

由美南新聞、國際貿易中心、 環球第一銀行及近百個工商團體社團共同舉辦之首屆休斯敦國際工商博覽會及第二十八屆龍年新年慶祝大會，将定於二月十日上午十時在埃里夫職訓大樓揭幕， 為今年十一月份之擴大國際博覧會進行暖身。 

正在籌辦中之慶祝大會，今天接到市政府之通知， 將大力支持這項推動工商文化國際化之活動， 市長及有關市府主管官員都將出席。 

休斯敦是全美第四大城， 強大之經濟建立在能源、 太空、 醫療 、高科技及多元種族之居民 ，是全美非常耀眼之大城。

新任市長惠特邁上任之後， 正在大力整頓市府人事及推動國際人士之投資，增加經濟繁榮和就業機會。

休斯敦國際工商博覽會將為休斯敦走向國際化帶來更多之影響， 大會將分為國內外兩大部份， 國內參展者將分為能源、 地產投資、 金融、文化、 汽車等展區， 並設有各國總領事館區， 展示推廣各國文化及產品。

我們非常感謝市長及有關官員對我們這項活動之大力支持， 在新市長惠特邁之支持下， 必定可以達成目標， 希望對休斯敦之國際化貢獻心力。 

We Will Jointly Promote And Strenghten International Cooperation In Houston

The first Houston International Expo and the 28th Year of the Dragon New Year celebration jointly organized by the International Trade Center and Southern News Group along with TMAC will be joined together by hundreds of businesses and civic organizations at our history making event. 

With the strong support from the City of Houston, Mayor Whitmire will join us to host the opening ceremony and start off the whole day of entertainment that will be performed by the many ethnicities in our community.

Houston is the fourth largest city in America. Our economy is based on the energy, medical, high-tech and space industries. After taking over his office, our new Mayor is vigorously addressing municipal personnel challenges and actively commencing the promotion of investments from  international businesses to invest in Houston to increase our economic prosperity. 

We are deeply grateful to Mayor Whitmire and all other officials for their strong support of our efforts.
