在非裔社區牧師狄森之主持下, 休斯敦市長惠特曼週五傍晚親臨美南新聞廣場，為環球第一銀行建築工地主持祈福儀式,這項祝福和溫情使我們感到無比之溫暖。

狄森牧師在祝禱詞中祝福環球第一銀行金融中心之主體建築是休斯敦社區之一項重大工程,在新任市長之領導下將為本市之經濟發展貢獻心力, 让銀行大樓順利建成致力於尋找創新方式來擴大服務範圍，提供機會支持我們多元化之社區發展。

惠特曼市長讃揚美南新聞過去四十五年之極大貢獻並且已成為華亞裔社區之喉舌，展現了國際社區之文化經濟之多元化。

The Mayor of Houston Came To Global One Bank To Pray for Blessings

Under the auspices of the African-American community, Pastor Dickson and Houston Mayor Whitmire came to the Southern News office on Friday evening to preside over a special blessing ceremony for the construction site of Global One Bank. This special blessing and warmth made us feel extremely peaceful.

Pastor Dickson blessed the main building of the Global One Bank Financial Center in his prayer. It is a major project for the Houston community. Under the new leadership of the city, Global One Bank will contribute to the economic development of the entire city. The successful completion of the bank building is dedicated to finding innovative ways to expand services and provide opportunities to support the development of our diverse communities.

Mayor Whitmire praised Southern News Group for its great contributions over the past 45 years and for having become the focal point of the Asian-Chinese community in Houston, demonstrating the cultural and economic diversity of the international community.

We sincerely thank    the Mayor and Pastor Dickson for their blessings and encouragement. We will continue to fight to serve our community.
