為了表達對川普政府驅逐非法移民之不滿，一項全國性之行動上週在各大城市展開，稱之為沒有移民的一天運動,來喚起全國對移民之重視，包括餐廳零售店許多移民員工都在二月三日星期一自動不上班或請假。

根據紐約移民研究中心估計，大約有八百三十萬之勞工是非法居留者，約佔全國勞工之百分之五。

上週末在全國各大城市有大批示威者抗議政府之抓捕行動，希望川普政府重視移民對美國经濟之貢獻。

老實說，如果我們把所有非法之移民趕走，將會對我們基本之勞工需求造成嚴重之影響. 許多人在此已經居住多年，以勞力換取基本生活並且也向政府繳稅，我們呼籲國會應該早日立法來解決問題。

A Day Without Immigrant Workers

In response to the Trump administration's policies on the expulsion of undocumented immigrants, a nationwide campaign called "A Day Without Immigrant Workers" was launched on Monday to raise awareness and garner national attention.

On this day, many immigrant workers, including those in restaurants and retail shops, chose not to report to work. According to the latest estimates, approximately 8.3 million workers are undocumented, making up about 5% of the total workforce.

In reality, removing all undocumented immigrants would have a significant impact on the essential labor force in the country. Many have lived here for decades, exchanging their labor for basic needs, while also contributing taxes to the government.

We urge Congress to take immediate action and legislate a solution to this issue.
