没有移民的一天

為了表达对川普政府驱逐非法移民之不满，一项全国性之行动上週在各大城市展开，称之為没有移民的一天运动,来唤起全国对移民之重视，包括餐厅零售店许多移民员工都在二月三日星期一自动不上班或请假。

根据纽约移民研究中心估计，大约有八百三十万之劳工是非法居留者，约佔全国劳工之百分之五。

上週末在全国各大城市有大批示威者抗议政府之抓捕行动，希望川普政府重视移民对美国经济之贡献。

老实说，如果我们把所有非法之移民赶走，将会对我们基本之劳工需求造成严重之影响. 许多人在此已经居住多年，以劳力换取基本生活并且也向政府缴税，我们呼吁国会应该早日立法来解决问题。

A Day Without Immigrant Workers

In response to the Trump administration's policies on the expulsion of undocumented immigrants, a nationwide campaign called "A Day Without Immigrant Workers" was launched on Monday to raise awareness and garner national attention.

On this day, many immigrant workers, including those in restaurants and retail shops, chose not to report to work. According to the latest estimates, approximately 8.3 million workers are undocumented, making up about 5% of the total workforce.

In reality, removing all undocumented immigrants would have a significant impact on the essential labor force in the country. Many have lived here for decades, exchanging their labor for basic needs, while also contributing taxes to the government.

We urge Congress to take immediate action and legislate a solution to this issue.
