市內公車再改造

休斯敦市公車處是為二百三十萬市民服務,市長惠特曼今午為新任董事會舉辦新聞招待會，並向市民保証將為大家提供最整潔及舒適之公共汽車服務。

據估計，全市將近有七十萬市民經常搭乘公車上下班或其他交通上之需要，為了加強和增設公車路綫,今年將增加經費來增加公車路綫服務更多之居民。

市長就任之後，除了以改善治安為首要任務之外，也十分關心市民之生活，其中包括交通住屋等問題。

多輛嶄新之大型公車即將上路，我們十分感謝市府之德政,也是市民們之福音。

Re-modification Of City Metro Buses

Mayor Whitmire joined an event this afternoon with the new Metro Board members and assured the citizens that the city would provide the cleanest and most comfortable bus service available to all passengers.

It is estimated that nearly 700,000 residents in the city often take the bus 

to and from work or other transportation destinations. In order to strengthen and add more bus routes, more funds will be made available this year to better serve our city.

After he took office, Mayor Whitmire not only improved public safety, he also paid great attention to the lives of citizens, including housing and other issues.

Many new metro busses will be on the road soon. We are really grateful to the city and to our great mayor.
