新加坡 我們來了

傲視全球的城市國家新加坡在久違十多年後我們又降落在廊宜國際機場， 迎面而來的熱風和現代化之建設，挤滿了來自全世界之觀光客。

新加坡經過國父李光耀之畢生奮鬥，從一個小𡷊而耀居世界經濟及國民收入名列前矛之國家 ，正充分証明世界華人社會艱辛努力寫下的歷史篇章 ，也是當今華裔在世界歷史上取得之辉煌成就。

近年來填海兴建之金沙賭場， 可以在此彈丸之地建造世界上最大的旅館和露天游泳池 ，加上眼望無際的地上地下名牌店和會議中心， 相較之下， 和賭城拉斯維加斯毫無遜色， 這家賭場有來自全球的富豪日揮萬金， 為新加坡增加了許多收入和財富。

令人震驚和不解的是， 生活在這里的六百萬居民， 有各種族裔能和睦相處 ，佔有百分之七十的華族能相忍為國， 為其他族裔之發展提供更多之機會， 也表現我中華民族文化有容乃大之風範。

這個城市國家之治安可能是排名世界首位， 兇殺案件非常稀少， 教育水準高， 治安好， 經濟繁榮是吸引世界各地富豪來此置產定居之主要原因， 在金融業為主導經濟發展趨勢中， 成為世界財富中心之一。

令我印象深刻還是新加坡人臉上的微笑和自信心， 他們對於來自海峽兩岸的華人皆一視同仁 ，他們心中深植華夏文化之根， 是我們最優秀的一群炎黃子孫 。

倘若新加坡人能造就之傲人成績 ，都是全球華人學習之最佳榜樣。

Singapore We Are Here 

We arrived at the Singapore International Airport tonight with a nice, warm wind blowing across the very modern airport. Almost ten years ago we visited this island nation. Since that time there have been a lot of changes.

About 70 years ago, the founding father of Singapore, Mr. Lee Kuan Yuan, claimed independence from Malaysia. Nobody thought he could be successful, but after many years, this city nation has become one of the top economic countries in the world.
In Singapore there is a population of six million with 70 percent being of Chinese descent. This is a place where the different ethnic groups can get along with each other very well.
Singapore has a very low crime rate. Their education system is one of the best in the world. The country's economy depends on financial services and tourism. That is what has attracted so many rich people to come to Singapore.
We walked through the Medina Bay Casino and the hotel has almost three thousand rooms with a shopping mall that you just can't see the end of.
We are so excited to see such a beautiful city nation which also represents the very hard work of all the people who came to this island to create a great country. All of them are very proud of it.
