川普承诺：共和党若赢得国会选举，每位成年公民可获五千美元

美国总统川普日前在达拉斯共和党大会上宣布，如果共和党在今年十一月期中选举中同时保住参议院与眾议院的控制权，他将推动向每一位美国成年公民发放五千美元，并称之為「川普红利」（Trump Dividend）。

川普表示，美国经济正在创造庞大收入，政府应让人民直接分享国家繁荣的成果。这笔款项唯一公开提出的条件，是必须在美国境内消费，以刺激零售、旅游、餐饮、住房及其他產业，带动国内经济成长。

副总统范斯其后表示，高收入人士可能不在发放范围之内，款项也可能由关税收入支持，但最终方案仍有待政府与国会进一步提出。

这项「五千美元红包」无疑将成為十一月期中选举的重要议题。支持者认為，它可以减轻家庭生活压力并刺激消费；反对者则担心计画将扩大联邦赤字、增加通货膨胀。因此，民眾目前不应把这项承诺视為已确定可以领取的支票，更要提防冒用此消息索取个人资料或手续费的诈骗活动。

Trump Promises $5,000 “Dividend” to Every American Adult if Republicans Win Congress

President Donald Trump announced at the Republican convention in Dallas that he would seek to provide a $5,000 payment to every adult U.S. citizen if Republicans retain control of both the House and Senate in the November midterm elections.

Trump called the proposed payment the “Trump Dividend.” He said Americans should share directly in the country’s economic success. According to his announcement, recipients would be required to spend the money inside the United States, helping stimulate retail, travel, restaurants, housing and other domestic industries.

However, the $5,000 payment remains a campaign promise—not an approved government benefit or enacted law. Distributing it to every adult citizen could cost more than $1 trillion and would require congressional approval. The funding source, eligibility requirements, payment schedule and distribution process have not yet been announced.

Vice President JD Vance later suggested that higher-income Americans might not qualify and that tariff revenue could help finance the payments. No final proposal has been released.

The proposed dividend could become a major issue in the November elections. Supporters say it would ease pressure on American families and encourage consumer spending. Critics warn that it could increase the federal deficit and fuel inflation.

Americans should therefore not consider the payment guaranteed—and should beware of scammers requesting personal information or advance fees in connection with the proposed checks.
