我们要积极而慎重地投下选票 

一张选票，看似轻薄，承载的却是沉甸甸的责任。它关係到我们的生活、孩子的教育、社区的安全，也影响国家未来的方向。

积极投票，是珍惜我们拥有的权利；慎重选择，是对下一代负责。面对竞选口号与各种资讯，我们更需要保持冷静，查证事实，了解候选人的理念、能力与过往表现，不让情绪代替判断，也不让谣言左右决定。

我们需要什麼样的领袖？是愿意倾听民意、勇於承担责任，并能把承诺化為行动的人。衡量一位候选人，不能只看他说得多麼动听，更要看他如何面对问题、对待不同意见，以及是否真正把人民的福祉放在心上。

从地方到全国，每一层级的公共决策，都与我们息息相关。道路是否完善、学校是否得到支持、长者是否受到照顾、小企业是否有发展机会，都是值得我们认真思考的议题。

民主也需要彼此尊重。家人、朋友、邻居之间，可以有不同的政治选择，但不应因此失去信任与情谊。选举终会落幕，我们仍要共同生活，一起建设这片家园。

投票之前，请多一分了解、多一分思考；投下选票之时，请记得自己对家庭、社区与未来的期望。

让我们积极参与，慎重选择，以理性与良知，投下对得起自己、也对得起下一代的一票。

We Must Vote with Care and Conviction By Wea H. Lee

A ballot may weigh almost nothing, yet it carries a profound responsibility. It helps shape our daily lives, our children’s education, the safety of our communities, and the future of our nation.

Participating in elections honors our right to vote. Choosing carefully honors our responsibility to the next generation. Amid campaign slogans and competing messages, we must remain thoughtful, verify facts, and examine each candidate’s principles, abilities, and record. Emotion should not replace judgment, nor should rumors guide our decisions.

What kind of leaders do we need? People who listen, accept responsibility, and turn promises into action. We should judge candidates by more than their speeches. We must consider how they solve problems, treat those who disagree with them, and serve the public.

From local government to national office, public decisions touch us all. Better roads, stronger schools, care for seniors, and opportunities for small businesses deserve our serious attention.

Democracy also requires mutual respect. Families, friends, and neighbors may make different political choices without losing their affection or trust. Elections will end, but we will continue living and working together in the same communities.

Before casting a ballot, take time to learn and reflect. Remember what you hope to build for your family, your community, and those who will follow us.
