中美元首会晤

拜登总统和中国国家主席席近平在巴釐岛会晤试图找到共同点，以减缓两个超级大国间近年来冰冷至最低点之关係。

拜登总统在会谈后表示， 我们绝不需要新冷战我们会激烈竞争，但不会有冲突。

习主席也在开场会晤中表示 ，世界正在面临十字路口 ，我们需要制定正碓的道路，世界各国期盼妥善处理中美两国之关係。

会谈中台湾问题仍然是核心， 中国长期以来一直寻求最终的统一 ，但拜登多次表示将保卫台湾。

我们愿见到此次会晤两国承诺，重啟气候变迁谈判及其他问题之沟通 ，美国国务卿布林育也将在近期访问北京。

事实上， 世界各国也正在期待中美两国来解决我们今天面临之许多问题，包括乌克兰战争及经济困境。

今天我们必须承认中国已经是个超级强国， 没有中国之参与我们就无法解决许多世界上的问题。

我们期盼大家要认清这些事实 ，為政者要為大家带来和平和繁荣。

 Competition Not Conflict

President Biden and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in Bali, Indonesia, for nearly three hours trying to find common ground to ease the lowest point in the relationship between the world’s two superpowers.

After the meeting, President Biden said, “I absolutely believe there need not be a new Cold War. We’re going to compete vigorously, but we’re not looking for conflict.”

President Xi also said, “The world has come to a crossroad and we need to chart the right course. The world expects that China and the United States will properly handle the relationship.”

In the meeting, Taiwan was a centerpiece of the conversation. Beijing has long sought for eventual unification, but on multiple occasions, Biden has said the U.S. would defend the island.

We are very glad to see that the two nations pledged to restart climate talks and agreed that both sides should resume communication after months of silence, and it was additionally announced that U.S. Secretary of State Blinken will soon travel to China.

Actually, the world is watching the two superpowers with hopes they will bring solutions to the many problems we are facing today, including the war in Ukraine and the economic difficulties facing many countries around the globe.

Today we must admit that China has become a superpower. Without their participation, we just can’t solve many of the world’s problems.

We are expecting that the meeting between the two leaders will send a message and bring peace and prosperity to the world.
