民进党继续在台湾执政

台湾选民今天在中华民国总统大选中，仍然以超过百分之四十以上之选票继续支持民进党赖清德為下一届总统， 这是国民党在台湾再一次之重大挫败。

一般认為 ，赖清德之未来动向必然会牵动未来中美台关係， 希望下架民进党的蓝营认為，与中国大陆进行谈判加强交往可能会阻止战争之风险， 显然此种想法并未得到选民之认同。

过去民进党政府和中国大陆几乎没有往来， 新一代的年轻人在民进党仇中之教育影响下，  几乎已经没有多少人认同自己是中国人。

我们呼吁美国政府必须非常妥善地处理台湾问题， 如何在营造两岸和平 ，顾全二千三百万人之生命安全才是我们的首要任务和责任 ，也劝告台湾新领导人要好自為之，  不要把美国也拖下水。

The Democratic Progressive Party Continues To Be In Power In Taiwan

Taiwanese voters continued to support the DPP Party's Lai as the country's next president with more than 40% of the vote. This is another setback for the Kuomintang Party in Taiwan. 

It is generally believed that the DPP government will inevitably affect the future relationship between the Sino-U.S.-Taiwan relationship. The challenger KMT believed that negotiating with China and strengthening exchanges may prevent the risk of war. Obviously, this idea has not been recognized by the voters. 

We call on the U.S. government to deal with the Taiwan issue very carefully.  It is our prime task to keep peace in the Taiwan Strait. We also want to advise the new Taiwan leaders to avoid pulling the United States into troubled waters.
