The Political Role Asian Voters Want To Play
The National Democratic Convention will kick off in Chicago this coming Monday for four days. Harris and Walz will be nominated as the Democratic candidates to run for president and vice president. This election will not only determine America's future, but it will also affect many global trends. It has rapidly become the most fiercely fought and complex contest in U.S. election history.
According to the 2020 census, the Asian population in America is 23.8 million, or about 7.2% of the total population. However, in recently years, the Asian population has grown rapidly. Most of them now live in California, New York, Texas and Hawaii. We are not only high-income groups, but also consistently make significant contributions to society in all walks of life.
Today’s Asian voters must be united to safeguard our dignity and rights. We must integrate our votes and use our money to form a united political entity to express our specific views which include education, public safety and discrimination issues.
The times are constantly changing and we can only hold on to our own destiny.
