市内公车再改造

休斯敦市公车处是為二百三十万市民服务,市长惠特曼今午為新任董事会举办新闻招待会，并向市民保証将為大家提供最整洁及舒适之公共汽车服务。

据估计，全市将近有七十万市民经常搭乘公车上下班或其他交通上之需要，為了加强和增设公车路綫,今年将增加经费来增加公车路綫服务更多之居民。

市长就任之后，除了以改善治安為首要任务之外，也十分关心市民之生活，其中包括交通住屋等问题。

多辆崭新之大型公车即将上路，我们十分感谢市府之德政,也是市民们之福音。

Re-modification Of City Metro Buses

Mayor Whitmire joined an event this afternoon with the new Metro Board members and assured the citizens that the city would provide the cleanest and most comfortable bus service available to all passengers.

It is estimated that nearly 700,000 residents in the city often take the bus 

to and from work or other transportation destinations. In order to strengthen and add more bus routes, more funds will be made available this year to better serve our city.

After he took office, Mayor Whitmire not only improved public safety, he also paid great attention to the lives of citizens, including housing and other issues.

Many new metro busses will be on the road soon. We are really grateful to the city and to our great mayor.
