美好的仗已经打过了

认识黄继荣牧师是多年前在他探视岳父母时聆听了他对老人家们之慰问和关懐,他开怀的笑声至今记忆犹新。

週六上午参加了黄牧师之安息礼拜,我们共同缅怀和庆祝他在世上的八十五个岁月,為他的生命中烙下了令人感动之岁月,一生奉献给宗教走完了人生道路，美好的仗已经打完了。

自美南新闻创刋迄今,我们的週末版上一直刊有福音版,从未收取分文,我常对同仁们说宗教是要人為善,信仰是一种无比之力量，媒体之存在是紥根於社区,我们一定要尽力為大家服务。

黄牧师之卓越领导於1991年在休斯敦西区创建西区中国教会，数千上万之信众以此為精神所託之家，他的爱心和努力令人感动和敬佩。

歷史之长河留下无数人之足跡，黄牧师之笑容永烙我们心中。

  I Have Fought The Good Fight

I met Pastor Kevin Wong many years ago when I listened to his condolences and sympathy for the elderly, including my mother-in-law. His laughter is 

still fresh in my memory.

On Saturday, we attended Pastor Wong‘s final resting service. We commemorated and celebrated his 85 years in the world, and highlighted the touching years of his life. He devoted his life to religion and has now completed his life's path and the beautiful battle is over.

Since the founding of Southern News Group, one weekend edition has been published as the Gospel Edition. I often say to my colleagues that religion is to do good to people and faith is an incomparable power. Our media is rooted in the community and we must try our best to serve everyone.

Under the leadership of Pastor Wong, he founded the West Houston Chinese Church in 1991, and thousands of followers took it as their spiritual home. His life and efforts were touching and admirable.

The long review of history leaves the footprints of countless people, and Pastor Wong’s smile will always be in our hearts.
