休斯顿首个快速COVID-19测试中心开业

【美南新闻记者泉深报道】休斯顿首个快速COVID-19测试中心（Rapidcovidclinic.com）于2020年7月17日星期五在德克萨斯州休斯顿开业。

为了满足休斯顿社区的紧迫需求，总部位于休斯顿的GMED Global，LLC自豪地宣布其快速的COVID-19测试操作系统正是营运。该公司将于7月17日（星期五）在5556 Gasmer Drive上启动其首个测试操作系统，休斯顿人只需驾驶，即可在舒适的自驾车中测试COVID-19。该中心还可以为希望参加且没有事先预约的人员提供服务。当人们在中心的停车场等候时，结果将在30分钟之内提供给他们。该计划的目标是快速、无忧且高效地进行测试，以便在疾病达到急性阶段并需要住院之前，任何具有COVID-19阳性结果的人员都可以迅速采取适当的行动。

由Quidel生产的这种独特的检测方法是美国唯一的快速抗原检测方法之一。它提供无痛鼻拭子可自行管理，因此可最大程度地减少应试者与提供者之间的接触。该测试直接检测到COVID-19的存在。 GMED还可以为地区企业、联邦诊所和学校提供COVID-19筛查。

测试不需要医生的推荐。个人可以简单地进行在线约会或开车到测试站点。

On Friday, July 17^th the company will launch its first testing operations at 5556 Gasmer Dr., where Houstonians can be tested for COVID-19 in the comfort of their own cars, by simply driving through the center. The center also has the capacity to serve those who wish to drop-in and have no prior appointments. While individuals wait in the center’s parking lot, the results will be available to them in under 30 minutes. The goal of this initiative is to make testing fast, anxiety free, and highly efficient, so anyone with positive results can act quickly and appropriately, before the disease reaches an acute stage and requires hospitalization. 

This unique test, manufactured by Quidel, is one of the only rapid antigen tests in the country. It provides a pain-free nasal swab that can be self-administered, and therefore, minimizes the exposure between test takers and providers. The test directly detects the presence of COVID-19. GMED can also provide COVID-19 screening to area businesses, federal clinics, and schools. 

The test does not require a doctor’s referral.
