成立休斯敦非洲外交官论坛之筹议

自从我被任命為非洲几内亚共和国驻休斯敦名誉总领事以来，始终怀抱一个信念——要推动非洲与德州之间更紧密的交流与合作。多年来，我亲眼见证了休斯敦在能源、教育、科技与文化领域的蓬勃发展，也深感非洲各国在此大地上尚有无限的潜力与机遇。

如今，我们拥有了坚实的合作平台——美南新闻集团、环球第一银行、休斯敦城市大学，以及德州农业厅等单位的参与与支持。这些力量的匯聚，使我更加确信：「休斯敦非洲外交官论坛」的诞生，不仅是时势所趋，更是一项注定成功的创举。

我们构想由驻休斯敦的各国总领事与外交代表共同牵头——包括几内亚、尼日利亚、安哥拉、衣索比亚与迦纳等国——透过此一平台，非洲各国的外交官将与美国地方政府、企业与学术机构开啟更深层次的对话，為未来合作奠定新基石。

我们决定以国际贸易中心為常设基地，积极展开筹备工作，设立秘书处与联络枢纽，拟定章程与年度计画，并同步与市府及各驻馆协调创会峰会的时间表与议程。

这不仅是一场外交的行动，更是一项文化与歷史的连结。非洲与休斯敦，将在这座国际城市的中心，谱写一段跨越大西洋的友谊新篇章。

On The Formation Of The Houston African Diplomats Forum

Since my appointment as the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Guinea in Houston, I have carried with me a steadfast vision—to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between Africa and the State of Texas. Over the years, I have witnessed Houston’s remarkable growth in energy, education, technology, and culture, and I deeply believe that the African continent has immense potential to engage with this vibrant city and the entire State of Texas on a most high and mutually beneficial level.

Today, we stand on strong foundations. With the support of Southern News Group, Global One Bank, Houston City University, and the Texas Department of Agriculture, I am confident that the establishment of the Houston African Diplomats Forum is not only timely, but surely destined for success.

Our initiative will be led by the consuls and diplomatic representatives of several African nations stationed in Houston—including Guinea, Nigeria, Angola, Ethiopia, and Ghana. Through this platform, African diplomats will be able to engage in closer communication and dialogue with local governments, business leaders, and academic institutions across the United States while laying a new cornerstone for future cooperation and shared progress.

We have decided to base our operations at the International Trade Center, where preparations will begin in earnest. A secretariat and coordination office will be established to draft the forum’s charter, define its structure, and plan the inaugural summit in full cooperation and consultation with the City of Houston and participating consulates.

This is more than a diplomatic initiative—it is a cultural bridge and a historical connection. In the heart of Houston, Africa and America will together compose a new chapter of friendship that spans the Atlantic.
