休斯敦市长惠特迈率同休斯敦警察局长Noe Diaz及多位市府官员,今午亲临美南环球银行金融中心参访,受到美南新闻集团董事长李蔚华、环球第一银行董事长JP Park及团队热烈欢迎。

此次参访活动,象徵休斯敦市政府对国际区发展及亚裔社区建设的高度重视。市长一行除参观美南新闻媒体中心、国际贸易中心及环球第一银行金融大楼外,并详细了解未来「AI金融医疗中心」及国际商务合作平台之整体规划。

惠特迈市长表示,休斯敦是一座充满多元文化与国际活力的城市,而国际区与亚裔社区多年来对城市经济、文化及国际交流贡献卓着。他高度肯定美南新闻集团及环球第一银行多年来在金融、媒体、公共事务及社区服务上的努力,并讚扬美南环球银行金融中心已成為休斯敦国际区的重要新地标。

休斯敦警察局长Noe Diaz则表示,警方将持续加强国际区治安维护,深化与各族裔社区之合作,共同打造安全、繁荣与和谐的生活环境。

李蔚华董事长在致词中感谢市府长期支持国际区发展,并表示美南新闻集团未来将结合媒体、金融、AI科技、医疗及国际贸易平台,进一步推动休斯敦成為全球华商与国际企业的重要交流中心。

环球第一银行董事长JP Park表示,银行将持续支持社区发展、中小企业融资及多元族裔经济合作,并希望藉由金融平台力量,协助更多企业与家庭实现美国梦。

美南环球银行金融中心近年积极推动AI医疗、国际论坛、世界领袖峰会及文化交流活动,未来将持续為休斯敦经济发展及国际合作作出更大贡献。

Mayor Whitmire and Houston Police Chief Noe Diaz Visit Southern Global One Bank Financial Center

Houston Mayor John Whitmire, accompanied by Houston Police Chief Noe Diaz and several city officials, recently visited the Southern Global One Bank Financial Center, where they were warmly welcomed by Southern News Group Chairman Wea Lee, Global One Bank Chairman JP Park, and their executive team.

The visit reflected the City of Houston’s strong support for the growth of the International District and the contributions of the Asian American community. During the tour, Mayor Whitmire and city leaders visited the Southern News Media Center, the International Trade Center, and the Global One Bank Financial Tower, while also reviewing future plans for the AI Financial Medical Center and international business cooperation initiatives.

Mayor Whitmire stated that Houston is one of America’s most diverse and internationally connected cities, and that the International District and Asian American communities have made tremendous contributions to the city’s economy, culture, and global outreach. He praised Southern News Group and Global One Bank for their decades of leadership in media, finance, public affairs, and community service, noting that the Southern Global One Bank Financial Center has become an important new landmark in Houston’s International District.

Police Chief Noe Diaz emphasized the department’s continued commitment to strengthening public safety in the International District and building closer partnerships with diverse communities to ensure a safe and prosperous environment for all residents.

Chairman Wea Lee thanked the City of Houston for its longtime support of the International District and stated that Southern News Group will continue integrating media, finance, AI technology, healthcare, and international trade platforms to help position Houston as a major global center for business and cultural exchange.

Global One Bank Chairman JP Park added that the bank remains committed to supporting community development, small business growth, and multicultural economic cooperation, while helping more families and entrepreneurs achieve the American Dream through expanded financial opportunities.

In recent years, the Southern Global One Bank Financial Center has actively promoted AI healthcare initiatives, international forums, global leadership summits, and cultural exchange programs, continuing to contribute to Houston’s economic development and international partnerships.
