台北孙文学校总校长张亚中教授昨天参加了由美南新闻主办的座谈会,并与休斯敦地区侨学各界及旅居美国的海峡两岸侨胞进行一项坦诚之座谈。

当天之交流中，大家对於中华民国台湾之前途有了一个共识,那就是在未来川普和习近平之谈判桌上,台湾就如乌克兰一样将无法上桌扮演任何之角色。

老实说,我们在海外的华人感到十分忧心,以川普目前所主导之外交政策，并以美国利益為优先考量,牺牲小国利益是非常可能又可怕之行為。

身為华裔美人，我们应该立即行动為海峡两岸之未来尽一已之力。

Welcome Professor Y.C. Chang's Visit

Professor Chang, the Grand President of the Dr. Sun Wen School in Taiwan attended a symposium hosted by Southern News Group and had a very frank talk with local community leaders and cross-strait Chinese Americans from Taiwan living in Houston, Texas. 

During the exchange, everyone had a consensus on the future of Taiwan. In any negotiations between China and the United States, Taiwan will not be able to play a role like Ukraine.

To be honest, we are very sorry about Trump’s current foreign policy which very likely will sacrifice the interests of smaller countries.

We all want the Taiwan issue to be solved in a peaceful way.
