专家们估计建造二千英呎之住宅将会增加八千三百到一万二千五百元之材料费用，这些包括木材钢筋家电等都在上涨中，事实上由於川普更严厉之移民政策已经造成建筑工人之短缺。

Housing Costs In Houston Are On The Rise

Housing construction costs in Houston are continuing to climb. Due to President Trump’s aggressive move to impose tariffs on countries around the world, prices have been rising across the board. According to the latest estimates from the Houston Construction Industry Association, the cost of building a new home is expected to increase by about $12,000, putting an even greater burden on future housing prices.

Experts estimate that the cost of materials alone for building a 2,000-square-foot house will rise by $8,300 to $12,500. This includes increases in lumber, steel, appliances and more. In fact, stricter immigration policies under Trump have already led to a shortage of construction workers.

We truly struggle to understand whether these sweeping tariff policies are really benefiting ordinary Americans. Do they actually make America stronger as the government claims?
