美国即将对委内瑞拉动武?


这阵子,美国在委内瑞拉近海大举增兵,军舰、战机云集,加勒比海几乎成了军事演习场。名义上是「反毒」、「打击恐怖主义」,实际上,多次空袭已让不少从委内瑞拉出发的船隻沉入海底,伤亡数字不断上升。


白宫说,目标是「毒梟组织」,不是委内瑞拉政府;文件上,还不叫「战争」,只是「行动」与「打击」。但对普通人来说,军机轰鸣、航班绕道、物资紧张,感受得到的,就是战争在一步步逼近。


所以问「美国是不是要对委内瑞拉动武」,答案也许是:

形式上,还没有全面开战;实质上,战争的影子已经笼罩在委内瑞拉周边的海面和人民的生活之上。真正的第一声炮响,可能只是时间与误判的问题。

Fighter jets overhead, rerouted flights, disrupted trade and growing shortages all feel like a slow war creeping closer.


So, is the U.S. about to go to war with Venezuela?
